Aloha! I am Shana Marin, the Parent Community Network Center (PCNC) Facilitator at Mokapu. PCNCs are part time employees that are unique to schools in Hawaii and serve to create supportive partnerships among the home, school, and community for the purpose of supporting student success and building a sense of family and community. PCNCs are school-based centers for families, volunteers, and community to identify strengths, collaborate, make decisions, and create partnerships.
I coordinate school-wide activities and provide volunteer opportunities for parents, guardians, students, and community partners including our military partner, 3d Marine Regiment. I am also the one to get your Mokapu school t-shirts from! My office is located at the front of the school. I'd love to hear from you sometime!
