Please fill out the card and return to your child(ren)'s teacher by Thursday, September 6, 2018. Please remember to sign and date each form at the bottom of the page. Forms must be dated 09/05/18 or later. Instructions were included with the card. A sample card has been provided here.
About Impact Aid The federal government provides Impact Aid to partially reimburse school districts that have (a) lost tax revenues (income, sales, property tax) due to a federal presence, and (b) have incurred the cost of providing educational services to federally connected students. Impact Aid goes to local school districts, just like local property taxes, to hire teachers, purchase textbooks and computers, pay for utilities and more.
