Mrs. Vincent, our technology coordinator will be hosting an Hour of Code event on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 from 2:30p.m.-3:30p.m in E1. All parents, students, and community members are invited to attend to experience what our students are learning in computer classes from Kindergarten to sixth grade about coding and programming. Please fill out the form by clicking the link above, if you are attending so we know how many people to expect. Come and enjoy learning and challenging yourself and your student with coding games.

Congratulations to the Mokapu K-Bay Krushers Robotics Team- Eve Brady, Logan Dolbee, Nolan Reddoch, Sloan Kelley, Cameron Wink, Gracie Orange, Averee Demling, and Ethan Angersbach -who's project to save the Honu (the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle) won the Project Award at the 2016 First Lego League's Animal Allies District Tournament this past weekend.
Theme for this year: "My Favorite Wintertime Activity in Hawaii"
K-2nd graders-Coloring Contest (Draw a picture no larger than 11x14 that represents the theme)
3-4 graders: Paragraph & Coloring contest (Write a paragraph and color a picture representing the theme)
5-6 graders: Essay Contest (Write an essay about the theme, picture is optional)
